Wii party!!M

Who here has a Wii?
I bought the system and freaking love Zelda, esp. b/c its the first Zelda I've ever played.

What other games would you suggest?

We Wiied it up for our final in Calculus BC this year (had our final the week be4)

Wii bowling is awesome! I got the Wii for Christmas and I bowled a perfect 300 game like 2 days after I got it. I haven't been able to do it since, but I've come close a few times.

I HAVE A WII. We got it for Christmas. =]

It's funfunfun, but we don't have that wifi thing yet, so we can't look at the forecast, news, or shopping channel. My dad did say though that we will get it either this weekend or next.

I played the Zelda game too; it was a lot of fun. I really like the Sports also. I'm amazing at boxing. =D

My favorite is wii tennis

First? Now that's interesting. Get an N64 and play OoT and MM, also great games. I played twilight princess for the cube, and it was an amazing game, but OoT still takes the cake for me.

I have a Wii! I got it the day after Christmas (not as a gift, I got up at 5 that morning and shopped until I found one)!

I love bowling and tennis!

I have an N64 that I don't play anymore. I first bought it in the third grade, and I was scared to play OoT because I was freaked out by the huge, one-eyed, spider\mutant thing at the beginning and all the random things that just pop up out of nowhere and start shooting things at you. Hence, it took me about two months to get past the first boss, who actually took about 20 seconds to kill. :D

Almost six years later, I still haven't finished the game. Actually, I'm not even halfway done. :D

where can you get a wii now? amazon has one for 400 bucks, but that's ridiculous.

Just show up at Best Buy at a time when they happen to have it, that's the luck of the draw really.

has anyone played Red Steel?
thoughts?

I've heard that it's mediocre to bad, but I haven't played it myself.

elebits and truama center are good. I also hear Rayman isn't too shabby either.

My friend has one but the only game I've played on his is the sports. I'm best at golf.

I really like the Wii personally. It's cheaper and more unique than the other systems. The graphics aren't as great but I don't really care about that; I'm not watching a movie.

Trauma center is freaking hilarious. My friend has a Wii and was like "you're interested in medicine, you should come over and play" and it's an awesome game (but, of course, it's not like it taught me anything, lol).

I love how the nurse orders the doctor around and makes fun of you if you mess up...I wonder if that's normal in Japan? (where the game was made..it's all anime and stuff) And you put a magic potion on small wounds to heal 'em up.

My favorite part is before each surgery the main dude yells "starting the operation" w/ one arm out like he has just deployed a Pokemon.

OMFG ZELDA IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. im 50 hrs in and im just about to start the cave or ordeals

OoT was teh best tho, hands down. one upping that is just impossible.

i dont have a wii, but it seems like you would get tired pretty quickly, based on the commericals I've seen about people swinging their arms and bodies all over the place...

I'm an xBox 360 kinda guy, tho I actually rarely play video games.

No! The flinging your body around is what makes it fun!!! :)

I don't have a Wii, and even though my brother has a PS2 and a Nitendo DS I never really ask to play them (perhaps because I'm a girl and don't have the time). But if I had a Wii I really would have a good time with it :D

Question! How does Wii detect your movements? I've always wondered how.

There is a sensor bar that you set in front of the TV.
