So basically, I got two B's soph year, one in English(long story, cant get into the details) and a B+ in AP Euro which i got a 4 on the exam...the rest of my grades are mostly A's with a few A-'s thrown in for good measure...Will these two grades cause my chances at Harvard to decrease significantly. I know there is nothing I can do now, just want some input...Thanks in advance, Mr.HS

Well. I got into Yale and I got a B+ in Sophomore year trig, a B in Junior year English, both in non-AP classes. 2 B’s.

Probably had around a dozen A-'s during my high school career.

Don’t worry about it.

Don’t worry about it; my s had numerous B+'s and he is now at HArvard?I suppose they look at your grades in comparison to your classmates.

Dont worry about it. Most people here dont have perfect GPAs.

Not at all. I started out in high school with mostly B/B+'s and slowly moved up to A-/A’s by my senior year, and got in. It’s much more about how you progress and the difficulty of your curriculum than a straight-up GPA.
