It’s hard to say if your proposed schedule is difficult or not, because every teacher teaches their class differently and the workload is almost impossible to predict for a given class. However, I would encourage you to follow what you said in your last post and take the classes you want to take. You’re only in high school once, and unless there’s a career path you’re extremely passionate about I would suggest that you try out different subjects and see if you find any new interests. You will have plenty of time to take specialized classes in college, and honestly, once you get over the initial shock, taking 5 or even 6 different college-level courses will become routine. I’m currently taking 6 and it is very manageable. I hope you don’t sacrifice what you want just to be competitive, but surely there is a balance that will allow you to have the best of both worlds!
