Does having a B or C completely take you out of the Ivy League pool?

Math has never been my strong point and I got a B in an advanced math class. I tried my absolute best but the B was the best I could do and hopefully it does not go down to a C.

I am first in my class, founder of my school newspaper, in NHS, high test scores, and a bunch of other things, but this B is really worrying me. It will ruin my 4.0 GPA.

Yes, nobody will ever love you ever again. From now on your parents will spit in your every meal before it’s served to you and your household pets will begin urinating betwixt your sheets out of pure spite.

Everywhere you go you will be followed by a perpetual raincloud out of which pours low quality gasoline and snarky comments. Flowers will wilt in your presence and you will smell strongly of sulfur and desperation.

You will have no choice but to enter into self-imposed isolation, too miserable to interact with any other living thing. Your house will be a ramshackle cottage with no air conditioning on the edge of a toxic lake into which Coca-cola ® dumps its manufacturing sludge.

Eventually the townspeople will turn against you, to the soundtrack of jeering and insults about your mother (who, coincidentally, now refuses to speak or even look at you), you will be dragged from your pathetic abode and whipped publicly. A large pyre will be constructed in the town square and upon it you shall be burned for all to see. In the midst of the flames and the tomatoes, now being used as projectiles by the townspeople, you will crane your neck upwards to witness your dying sight.

It will be a flock of crows flying overhead in the shape of a ‘B.’

You should probably start looking up community colleges, there’s no way you’re getting anywhere with a B. B stands for “bad” and bad just won’t do. Nah, but in all serious, we’re just kidding. Not everyone accepted has a 4.0, I’m surprised a smart student like you doesn’t know that. That being said, Harvard is still very hard to get into.

I know a guy in my class who got a B+ in trig and he still got into Harvard. Btw, Harvard is a dream for a lot of people, so dont over-obsess because the chances of one getting in is infinitesimal. We all have dreams, but we should also look at things realistically…

Absolutely not, ivy leagues and other prestigious universities and colleges value other things besides grades in a class such as level of difficulty in the class not to mention, how amazing will it look to them that your human (u make mistakes or dont get perfect grades all the time) however u can pick urself up really quickly and get the A next time! GOod luck and don’t worry
