Will a C+ in Sophomore year stop my chances of getting into good college?

I’m a sophomore and my current grades are

English // A
History // A
Pre-calculus // A-
Biology // A-
Japanese // A-
Chemistry // B-/C+

I am required to take Chemistry in sophomore year by my school but I want to enter a more english/history field for college. Will this hurt my chances of getting into a school like UCLA or NYU or a similar school?
