I know they physically CAN check it…but that would be against privacy policies
The other day in ICT me and my friends were messing around searching up pornhub and stuff like that just cause it was funny, but now my school account is blocked
Cut some of it off, so basically my question is, do colleges normally check what people search? My school has 1,000
People don’t know if they normally speck search history …do they?
They might have some sort of automatic notification system when people access sites they don’t want you to access. If you’re nervous, you could try to anonymously call and ask.
Btw was this on school computers?
I think it is automatic…the system is set up to detect attempted access to inappropriate sites for all students and probably faculty. I don’t think they said, “Let’s look at Dan’s history” but that a request went to an inappropriate site. Happens at work places all the time. You probably signed something that said you would only use school resources for good, not evil. You may think porn is funny, but it might not be funny to see your classmates searching for that in class.
