Will an engineering degree from OSU get me a job in big cosmopolitan cities?

I’ve been living in Ohio all my life , and I’ll be aattending college here as well, but I’m sick of living in a ohio , and preferably I want to move to a bigger city like NYC, Boston, Seattle, Chicago and the Bay Area. I’ll be majoring in Computer engineering if that helps. I really don’t wanna stay in Ohio anymore after I graduate and preferably move to a bigger city , or abroad if it’s possible that is

The degree will certainly open doors. You will have to step through them. That means excelling in your studies, making positive connections, and taking the initiative to eventually interview with firms in your desired cities.

Engineers can really only work in a few areas of the country. Computer engineers mostly work in silicon valley–but be aware that the really big firms require degrees from high ranked schools.

The vast majority of OSU engineering majors stay in Ohio: http://thelantern.com/2013/11/ohio-state-engineering-business-graduates-tend-stay-ohio/
