Will AP credit for MATH M-212 count for anything?

DD is an incoming freshman Kelley DA and she's taking BC Calc AP exam next week. IU gives credit for M211 & M212 (Calc I & II) for a 4 or 5 on the exam. But it seems like the M212 credit won't be useful to satisfy any requirements except total credit hours. Kelley requires M118 (or M211) and M119 (Finite), so M212 doesn't seem to count for anything toward a business degree. And M211 will satisfy the math portion of the Breadth of Inquiry: Natural & Mathematical Sciences gen ed requirements. Am I wrong?

Kelley requires M118 (finite) and M119 (M211 or AP Cal AB). AP Cal BC won’t be very useful unless your DD wants a Math Minor.

Now all she will have to take is Finite. That is a good thing to point out about the N&M credit, as it might fulfill that. I wouldn’t know but that’s definitely a good question for a counselor.
