Will AP World History count towards college admisisons?

Hi. I'm sorry if this might be a dumb question, but I'm going to be a junior next year and I took AP World History last year. I got an A both semesters, but I got a 700 on the SAT II and a 4 on the AP test. It was because I was foolish and arrogant and I didn't study that much.

Now, I'm starting to regret not getting a 5. My smart "elite" friends who got 5s told me that colleges, especially ivy leagues, look at the scores you get on AP and SAT II tests. Now I'm worried, although I do not plan on majoring in history in college. Would I have had a better chance of getting into a college if I had gotten a better score on the AP World History tests? Thanks.

No. AP test scores aren’t looked at for admissions purposes. You don’t even have to report them on app if you don’t want to. The SAT score is good though. Maybe not what you wanted, but anything 700 and over is generally a good score.
