I just got my score back from the AP world history exam and I got a 4, not a 5. Does this wreck my chances of getting in to a top school? I know I have the option to not send the score in but my teacher says she doesn’t recommend that because it looks supicious because the class is on your transcript
No. A 4 is still a very good score, but AP scores carry little to no weight in the admissions process; they are mainly used for credit and/or placement.
I agree with her. Why risk adcoms assuming that you scored a 1?
