Im planning on retaking my SAT & ACT this coming October since my previous scores weren’t as great. I know for UC’s you could start submitting your application Nov 1st, but I’m aware that my test scores won’t come until late October or late November so I’m unsure if I should wait for my scores because I heard that if you apply early there’s a great chance that you’ll be submitted & get financial aid/housing priority? Anyone else have other information?
I’m pretty sure you can have collegeboard send your scores directly to the school you apply early to so that those October scores are included in your application to that school. The only con to this is that you don’t get to actually see your score. So if you get an iffy grade, it gets sent to the college automatically without you deciding whether to send it or not.
I’m not sure about the second question.
