Will applying for TAG as an undecided major decrease my chances of being admitted?

Currently I'm attending a community college in LA and my current GPA is a 3.7, but I have a bad transcript from another CC with a 2.7. :(

I'm planning on applying to UCSB, Davis, and UCSC. Due to the 2.7 GPA dragging me down, I'm worried that I won't get accepted into any of them.

I was going to apply as an International Relations or Global Studies major, but since they are both impacted I'm starting to second guess applying as either of those, and go with "undecided", or an easier major instead.

Any opinions/inputs would be greatly appreciated :x

Also to add in: the 2.7 from a previous CC is already after Academic Renewal (Just in case anyone would’ve suggested it to bring up my GPA)

Sorry, you cannot TAG “undecided” since you must also take classes toward your major - IGETC and major prereqs add up to a minimum 60 semester units that you need to complete by the end of Spring. You cannot change into an impacted major after transferring. Work with your transfer center. Be sure to enter both transcripts into the UCTAP. Seems your best course is to find an unimpacted major and then minor in IR/GS. Good luck!
