Will Applying through by mail hurt my chances?

Hi, I am REALLY stuck and I'm confused :(
I know colleges prefer people to apply through online, but for one of my supplements, I did something that can't really be submitted online.

Do you think they'll be annoyed if i submit it through mail?
Or do you think they'll let me submit the supplement (which is an optional essay) through mail and everything else through online.
Or if i submit the supplement essay online, but send them the visual aid, because it's not something i can take a picture of (it's 3D)

Thanks in advance! :)

Yes, colleges will deny you for the SOLE REASON of you using mail in registration...

really now, does that seem logical?

It is fine to send your application by mail. A lot of private high schools for example dont even let their students send in the application on line and prefer to send it as one package. ie. the student gives them the application and they put in all the other parts, ie. transcripts, teacher recommendation, ect.
My brother applied to 11 schools that way a year ago and was accepted to 9 of his schools

You can submit your application online and submit anything else you want through the mail. Think about it. Your transcript and letters of rec will go by regular mail. It will be fine.

This post gets two stars on the CC paranoia scale.
