Will Bryn Mawr look down upon a religious studies major?

If I am applying to Bryn Mawr, and I list my top interest as religious studies, will it lower my chance of admission? I am wondering this because religious studies is a major that is technically not offered at Bryn Mawr. I'd be studying religion at Haverford. Would the fact that I'd be majoring at Haverford affect my chances of getting accepted into to Bryn Mawr?

I also plan to major in bio (neural and behavioral sciences)/environmental sciences (though I know it is a minor at BMC)/English.

Religion is listed on their website under academics. Therefore, I don’t think it’s discouraged. If you’re really nervous about it, perhaps you could write in your essay what you plan to major and major/minor in. If that topic is not revelant to your essay topic, then ask one of your teachers to add that in your letter of rec.

I don’t think putting that down would hurt your chances. I would put it down if I were you, but also be sure to put down the rest of your interests!
