<p>I am currently a Junior playing the violin for my second year and I'm pretty good with it. My Adv. Orchestra teacher is starting a Chamber Music group at my school and I am insterested. If I join this club, would BU think that I joined it because I need the EC?...since they will see that I was in it Junior and Senior year and they won't know it was the first year it was offered at my school. Help?</p>
<p>I think that the best ECs are the ones that show your true interest. You sound truly interested...that's what you want to come through in your application.</p>
<p>-<em>- You seem so anal about how you present yourself to colleges. -</em>- If you truly like it, then just go for it. That's my philosophy. Colleges are looking for whether you have true passions, and whether you pursue them.</p>
