Hello all, I'm an aspiring sports agent. Obviously, the route most traveled and most advised is to attend law school. However, there's an increasing number of agents with just an undergraduate degree, and I've noticed some have an MBA. I feel that I would be able to provide more for my clients with an MBA and it's the degree I would rather pursue. With that said, some have advised me that I will be at a distinct disadvantage in the area of contracts with this decision. It should be noted, however, that each of these individuals were law school graduates. I was wondering what everyones thoughts were on how Business school would prepare someone in the area of contracts? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

contract law is only plays a small part of business education. it more or less a survey course. for in depth understanding of contract/negotiation, you need a law degree. this is why companies hire in house counsels.
