Will Cal Poly Pomona rescind my admission?

I’ve been admitted to CPP for fall of this year as a transfer student. My major is marketing, but I decided to take an intro to chemistry class for this spring semester to fulfill the physical science requirement for my community college.

Well I did really horribly and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to pass, so I’ve taken a withdrawal “W” for the class and plan to take astronomy or something else over the summer.

Will CPP rescind me for this? It’s of course not part of my major requirement, as I have all my pre-reqs for marketing done and I still have enough units to transfer.
Also I’ve paid for all my fees and even have my on campus apartment so it would really suck if they do lol

Probably not. a W isn’t too terrible to have on your record. If you got an F in all your courses this semester, then they probably would rescind your admission. I wouldn’t worry too much about a W though.

ok thanks! @tehjoadsta
