<p>I think you have a good chance provided you have good essays. You may also want to increase your ACT score. </p>

<p>The UMN app doesn’t take essays when applying early like I am…I wish though because I’ve had some excellent reviews on my essay and I’m a strong writer. I took the ACT 3 times and maxed at a 26 and was dissapointed, but thank you for the chance anyways!!! Best of luck</p>

<p>Yeah I think test scores are the only thing standing in your way. As Jay said, try the SAT. It’s the most popular test here on the east coast but midwesterners dont know much about it. Buy a review book and try it out to see how it goes. You’ll want to aim for an 1800+ for a good shot. Good luck and please chance me back?</p>
