My schedule consisted of AP US History, AP Bio, AP Art, Honors Pre Cal, and regular American Lit. I want to concentrate on math and science because I am planning on majoring somewhere in the medical career when I graduate. Because all of my AP classes require an extensive amount of reading and memorization, I am worried I will focus on one class more than the other. So that is why I decided to drop AP Art today. I am still planning on volunteering and joining clubs.
So does it depends on how many APs you take? Should I tell my counselor to change and add AP Art back in? Thank you so much! I have been stressing out a lot.

You’re fine.

Dude. You’re fine.

You’re fine, bro.

Your fine. Colleges don’t look at APs before your accepted. The only thing you could get knocked for is at some Ivy colleges where they will question your course difficulty. But Honors classes can fix that. As long as your UN GPA is above 3.5 (High Honor Roll) and you W GPA* is 0.5 to 0.75 higher, then your fine.

*W GPA doesnt have a univerisal calculation. Here’s a pretty standard way to calculate it: http://collegeapps.about.com/od/theartofgettingaccepted/f/weighted-gpa.htm

“Only on CC…”

^^This. Right here.

Is my swag.

As long as your taking the most challenging course load offered by your school (that you can handle) you should be fine. If you don’t want to take AP Art, is there an honors class that you could enroll in?

bonbon… you serious?

I hear that AP Art sucks anyway.
