Will colleges accept SAT II writing instead of new writing section?

I scored much higher on my SAT II writing than the writing section for the new sat section. Can I use my SAT II?

I'm not sure, but the collegeboard wrote on my SAT score report that the new SAT writing score was not comparable to the SAT II Writing. I suppose it depends on the college. Admissions will be confusing this year because of the transition to the new SAT.

Depends on the college. Many private colleges (mostly LACs) are accepting scores from both old and new SATs interchangeably. Most public universities will only accept new SAT scores. It's a transition year.

Thats not fair. The curve for SATII Writing is much more generous than the curve for SAT1 Writing.

Which, of course, is why CollegeBoard states that the tests are not comparable.

But some colleges are not taking that statement into consideration.

Each college has its own rules. You have to check individually.
