Will colleges know if I don't submit all of my sat scores?

I took the SAT reasoning twice:

1) M740 W740 CR680 - 2160
2) M800 W750 CR750 - 2300

On the second time, I improved my score in all three sections, so my first test is technically useless to me.

I don't mind sending both tests to colleges, but of course I would prefer to only send in my higher one. Should I send both tests to colleges, or only send in the second one? And if I went with the latter, will they know that I didn't send in one of my tests?

For colleges that allow you to pick and choose, send one if you like, I really don’t think it will make much of a difference for you if they see both. Taking twice is not a big deal–taking four or five times is different. For colleges that require all scores, send all scores. Assume yes they will know and won’t appreciate you starting the relationship off with subterfuge.

@brownparent Thanks, I’ll probably just send in all my scores everywhere to be safe. But I was wondering, how would they even know if someone sent in all of their scores or not?

I’m not sure, but it is a matter of your integrity to follow the colleges policy.
