Will colleges rescind my admission?

Hi, I’m a Senior from California and I am just worried about college cancelling my admission.

So, before senior year, I have been receiving As and Bs average, but I have never gotten Cs. However, I will end up with 3 Cs this semester.

My point is, do colleges rescind my application because of those 3 Cs in Senior year? or can I make up with good second semester grades? (btw, I will have Cs in physics, Calc AB, and AP psych and I am a Math major)

Thank you for your replies

Which schools? UCs?

I applied to UT Austin, UDUB, UIUC, and USC

As you have not been admitted there is no admission to rescind yet. Do these schools require your first semester grades?

They require transcript after graduation (and i got into UT Austin Math major)

1 C wouldn’t be an issue but 3 Cs might be. Still, most schools wouldn’t rescind admissions even for this. That said, your best bet is to put in some more time and effort and get those grades up to Bs or As.

Also, once you are accepted check each school’s provisional contract. Some schools specifically state required GPA’s needed for Senior year to maintain your admission. 3 C’s probably will not get you rescinded by definitely get those grades up by the end of the year.
