Hi, I was accepted to UT Austin math major few weeks ago, but I’m worried about admission cancellation.
I think I will end up with 2 Cs this semester and is this going to cancel my admission or can I make this up with 2nd semester grade? Here is my course and expected GPA for first semester
Calc AB: C
Regular English: A
Physics: C
Microecon: B-
AP Psych: B
PE: B
They’ll probably ask why you received Cs, but I honestly don’t know at what point they’ll actually consider rescinding their offer of admission (since truly no school likes to do that). I would talk to your guidance counselor immediately after break ends and discuss what you can do to ensure you won’t get rescinded.
What was your original GPA?
My original gpa was mixed with As and Bs. Unweighted was 3.64 and weighted was 4.08 since I took 9 AP classes. (By the way, PE is an A)
I think you might be able to get away with it. It might look better if you email UT Austin first - instead of vice versa.
