Will colleges revoke me for a C?

Hello everybody. I was just wondering if getting a C in my AP Spanish class on my 1st semester of senior year will affect my chances of getting into colleges and if I do get accepted, will my C cause them to revoke my admission?

I am applying for:
UCI
UCSD
UCD
UCSB

USC
University of the Pacific
University of Santa Clara.

It all depends. Let’s take the situation considering you are admitted.

How have your past grades been? How are your other current grades?

If you have had all A’s and a few B’s and then suddenly start showing a decline, it is ground for worrying. If you just have one bad grade amongst everything and can explain it well, you shouldn’t be hurt too bad. Often, before revoking admission offers they contact you asking you to explain the grade, etc, so it’s important to have a good reason/explanation.

One C isn’t the end of the world, but continue working on getting it up for the UCs!

Your question gets asked hundreds of times. Do a search and you’ll find some good answers.

Thank you guys very much. Yes, I have searched up plenty of times the same question I am asking, but I’m just a cautious person who likes to be reassured.
I think my GPA will stay the same with the C, so less stress off my back.
Time to continue my colegio essay.

A C might affect whether you are admitted. Once admitted, a C will not get your offer of admission rescinded.
