Will Colleges See My Credit Hours Senior Year

So senior year of high school(graduating class of 2017), I will be taking a full schedule at the local community college instead of taking honors and AP classes at my high school. My primary reasoning for this is, hopefully increased admission chances and I will save money through the CCP program within Ohio since they pay for all of it. Will it help me get an extra boost over other applicants if I apply to most of my schools through early action?

Also by full schedule I mean that I will have 30 credit hours by time I graduate.

Where are you considering applying? Many elite private schools won’t accept your credit for transfer. State schools most likely will. Are these credits considered dual enrollment? Depending on where you apply, dual enrollment credits won’t disqualify you for freshman admission. If they are not dual enrollment just make sure the college won’t consider you a transfer student instead of a freshman.

Whether it will help you will depend on the school and the classes.

These credits are considered dual enrollment. I’ll most likely be applying to Ohio State, Seattle University, University of Washington, Miami University(Oxford Ohio), and Ithaca College. Although I will be applying to other selective colleges these are my primary colleges that I’ve been looking at since my test scores and GPA aren’t amazing for top colleges(3.8 overall GPA currently with honors and AP courses, 29 ACT)
