Will cornell follow Yale and Harvard with FA to families

Yale has followed Harvard by providing more FA to middle class families. Will Cornell follow? How big is Cornell's endowment?

www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/ content/article/2008/01/14/AR2008011401122.html

Not sure how it would be feasible. It has a smaller endowment but more students than Harvard and Yale.

Its endowment is 5.5 billion with I believe roughly 13,500 undergrads

highly doubt it

Not yet. The only schools that can afford that are HYP. The rest of us Ivies have to make do--but you can bet this is a core goal of the current multibillion dollar campaigns.

Harvard's endowment was like less than $2 billion in 1990. Hopefully we will all get to the $20 billion level soon
