Could I get into NYU or Brown for their CS undergrad program if I maintain a 4.0 @ Brooklyn College freshmen yr. As well as take part in extra-curricular activities and show how community oriented I am. Possibly on a Scholarship despite my academic history?

MY STORY:
Basically I was an average student in H.S I mostly got B's, C's and the few A's. I had a GPA of 3.0. I graduated H.S in 2008. I had no idea what I wanted to do and spent two years on and off working. Spring 2010 I was accepted into CUNY Hunter because my parents and my H.S teacher who I still kept in contact with was pressuring me to attend College. My parents were so disappointed and angry with me for two years. Both my parents and grand parents never went to college so I was basically a 1st gen college student. So to please everybody I just attended Hunter.

I was there for 3 semesters and I did not like it at all. I basically just kept retaking the classes I withdrew from or failed for not attending again the next semester. In which i then would withdraw from those. My GPA at Hunter is .0?? something. I can't remember the number. (Basically it's bad) After spring 2011 semester I just stopped attending. I pretty much left/got kicked out.

Now a year later after having dabbled in programming and discovering how exciting it is. I want to get a degree in CS. I have been study for the past 2 months. Catching up on my Algebra, pre-calculus and essay writing (I am terrible at writing essays)

My plan is to attend Brooklyn College for a yr starting this fall with a maintained GPA of 3.5 and up. Then transfer back to Hunter College for their CS Department. Will Hunter accept me back into their school under the Macaulay Honors program?
