These are my projected 2nd semester grades.
All classes are either AP or IB.

History: A
Calculus BC: B-
English: B-
Spanish: B-
Biology: A
Physics: C+

Is there any chance these grades would cause me to get rescinded? I'm trying really hard to pull my physics grade up to a B but I am not sure if I can.

In the admit package I got the Final School Report from Duke and it states that Duke routinely reevaluates theapplication of every accepted student who received a grade of C in the final semester. Should this scare me?

Also, I was accepted off the waitlist. Do you think Duke would be a little more harsh in evaluating 2nd semester grades for those admitted off the waitlist since they were more borderline students?

I am really getting scared.

You'll be fine. Relax. Schools don't rescind based on grades if the student is putting in good effort.

I do not think that there is any problem with grades like those. Relax.

No, they won't rescind you.

Spend less time being scared and more time studying Physics. ;-)

I'm just scared because it says on the Final School Report that Duke reevaluates any applicant with a C second semester.

The best way NOT to worry about this is to study and get the best grades you can for the remainder of your senior year.

Getting scared and posting a lot on here is not going to help you. Studying physics a lot will help you. They probably will not rescind you regardless, but wouldn't it make the most sense to really study physics hard, ask for help, and bring your grade up to a B?

I highly doubt a single C+ would get you rescinded. But keep working anyway.

what about all Bs and a C?

If Duke "routinely" reevaluates all candidates who get a C in 4th term, I highly doubt a single C+ will cause a problem. If C+ was the HIGHEST grade on the report card, that might be a different issue.

Mimienthused, I think you're fine too. But focus on your finals anyway.
