Is one C enough to revoke my admission?

Needless to say after getting in ED, senioritis kicked in early. That said, I managed to pull all A's except one class where i might be getting a C. I've never even gotten below an A in high school before this semester. Is the one C enough for them to revoke admission? Those of you who already attend Duke or have been accepted, how bad did your grades get after acceptance?

btw the class is AP Physics

dont worry about it.....

jeez man, chillax. They don't care. They will pass on 5-second glance over your 2nd semester grades to see if you failed any.

People who think like you should be drug into the street and shot. Seriously, just relax you'll be fine. Stop overreacting and enjoy heading to Durham.

ok ok im chillaxed now. I like to freak out over nothing. thanks guys

yeh and if you ever flip out again we'll be here to tell you that you are crazy and bring you back down to reality with the rest of us...

That's a pretty big slide. I mean think about it, all As until senior year when suddenly you show an enormous drop to a C. I think that you should be very worried. If you had been an A-/B+/B student then it might not hurt you, but as it is I would consider prep school for a year.

Just to say, I think Duke's policy regarding grades after acceptance is as follows:

Maintain your high level of academic acheivement. That said all As and one C still sounds pretty good to me, especially in a hard class like physics. Plus I think it said on the bottom of the end of year grade report they sent us that they really only look at your application again if you get a FINAL grade lower than a C+, and that's only looking at it, I don't think they rescind many offers of admission unless you like fall apart. And at least i assume they meant final grades.
I called them today cuz i wanted to drop a class and wanted to make sure that was okay and the guy was really funny. He was like "relax, you're in, enjoy second semester." So I think we should all just take his advice, that's why we applied early anyways right.

The Answer Is: No

If you had all B's and a C I might be slightly concerned, but as it stands now you have nothing to worry about.
