<p>Just finished 2nd year. Was wondering how adcoms will view me doing ochem 2 next summer. Will it impact me getting secondaries/interviews? I want to get my application in early next June as I know early submission is important in the process. Will there be any issues in completing OChem 2 by early August next summer, post submission of my application?</p>
<p>Am currently transferring schools and need to focus on new major requirements this upcoming year so I finish on time...am not a science major so have to squeeze in that last ochem requirement then...otherwise I'm looking at an extra semester. Appreciate any feedback.</p>
<p>Probably will depend on your ochem1 grade. Can you take classes for your major that aren’t pre-med pre-reqs during that summer and fit in orgo2 before summer? That would probably be ideal.</p>
<p>yeah is possible…moving to Stanford and sketched out by the difficulty of their Orgo 2 on top of it not fitting in w/my schedule (going from semesters to quarters)…got an A at my current school’s Orgo1. sitting on a 4.0 for my calc/physics/chem/bio/ochem1 sequence…just not sure how it’ll look. Am taking a bunch of classes labelled Humbio next fall which are more akin to public/global health courses. Not sure if they will/won’t be factored into the Sci GPA</p>
