Will get Rescinded?

Im currently accepted into University of Texas at Austin and I was wondering if I could get my admission rescinded for getting a C.

Most likely not. But it's entering the danger zone so check with the school to make sure.

It appears as if no one on this site actually knows. There have been numerous questions pertaining to this issue, and just as many vague/uninformed answers.

This would be a good "Ask the Dean" topic.

In my opinion, though, I'm not sure why Texas would ever go out of its way to revoke your admission because you got an "average" grade. The expectations set on this site are far too high, and in a school with 40,000 people, they'd sure have to rescind a ton of applications if their standard was to revoke all second semester seniors who obtained a C.

At UT? No, you could make a few more and they still wouldn't care.

nah man. Ur good

Do the math... I'll bet of the 15,000 or so acceptances, at least 2,000 - 3,000 will have received at least one C grade in the last reporting period. It has an official name... senioritis.

Think about that and then draw the reasonable conclusion.

when did a passing grade become so feared?
