This summer has been spent on starting my own business without registering it. (it's not illegal btw XD)

Thank you for reading! Please comment =).

Oh I forgot to mention. I am planning to apply for ED at Wharton. But will my SAT II Math mark affect me a lot? Am I gonna have a better chance at Wharton if I apply regular but retake my math to get a higher mark? What do you think?

I will chance you in October.

If you are concerned about retaking your math score, then you might want to try again to achieve your goal. I’m not familiar with any of the colleges you are talking about, however I do know that these are some of the highest rated in the US. Work hard your senior year to keep your grades up, even if you apply & get waitlisted, certain colleges place much emphasis on keeping a strong senior year. If you make the grade senior year then you may be able to get in. I don’t want to sound like an old nagging woman, but you really should have taken your SATs more than just once! Since you can only take it one time before you have to apply, make sure that you study and do your best. Really give it all you’ve got…

Chance back–>

the SAT score is truly one of the most important things in this whole equation… work your BRAINS off for that. other than that… your grades are good (94% is probably 4.+ equivalent) and you’re an international with EC’s.

Ivies will be INTERESTED…
UC’s like UCLA and Berkeley will be MORE THAN interested…
and either way… i’m sure everything will work out for you.

SAT score is definitely important in chancing you but the rest of your stats seem pretty good even for the great schools on your list but as of now you definitely have a shot.

Nope, not at all, but your standardized tests are weak, and you are in a competitive pool.

Your GPA is acceptable, nothing spectacular.

You better get something higher than a 2300.
Check out Wharton’s common dataset.

Thank you very much guys! glad to hear my 750 math mark is still acceptable…
I’d also like to hear which uni you’d recommend me (good for business, great chance for me to get in, good environment…etc)
thanksss

Besides not knowing your SAT score, you have an above average chance :]

bumppp
any one else?

Decent chances for the lower ivies (although the GPA isn’t quite so strong so try to work on that), imo. You’re going to be facing some serious competition from the GTA kids, let alone the rest of the country so they’re all looking like reaches right now.

Thanks PrincetonDreams! Are you also from Toronto? =)
I always wondered how many applicants apply from Canada/Toronto. Anyone know where to find this data? It wasn’t on the colleges’ websites…

PM’ed you just now.

I think we’d need to see your SAT score first but, I also think your gona need a higher GPA for some of those schools. But, you have a shot with good SAT scores

Help me out if you can ;)

thanks Jessica17! My gpa is not the best…but my high school is known to be highly competitive, so maybe that’ll compensate? Although I know I’m not no.1…2…or prolly not even 3…But I’m sure somewhere in the top 10. ><
Anyone else?

Good luck on SATs. Get a solid score and write a great essay and you will be fine.

Hm…I’m not sure if even a dozen canadian students get selected to each school.

Communist101 where did you hear about that? I actually really want to know how many ppl get accepted…><

bump…:)

Fatum-

No one on this board can accurately chance you until you’ve got an SAT I score to show us. If you’re itching to know and can’t wait until October, buy the Blue Book (the official SAT study guide) made by the College Board, the makers of the test. Sit in a quiet environment and, with a timer and no interruption, take a practice test through and through (you can take up to three breaks, preferably two). In this controlled enviornment, you should be able to produce a score that will represent (somewhat) what your score in October will be. So first, buy the book: here’s a link:

[Amazon.com: The Official SAT Study Guide, 2nd edition (9780874478525): The College Board: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Official-SAT-Study-Guide-2nd/dp/0874478529/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1280949520&sr=8-1)

Then, take one of the practice tests.

Then, once you have your scores, send me another private message, and I’ll give you a good idea of your chances. :)

I know it’s frustrating that I’m not chancing you, but no one can be chanced for any Ivy League school unless their SAT or ACT score is known.

Good luck.
