Will I be able to go to the colleges I want to go to?

While it hasn’t been the end of the 1st semester of my senior year, I’m facing a predicament, I have two Cs in AP physics 1 and calculus BC.
All my other grades are A and I have been traditionally a mostly A but with a few B grades. I simply feel like I have bitten off more than I can chew. (My school is hyper competive but all the teachers dont like to teach)
I’m really nervous, and looking around this website or even asking other people is simply making me even more nervous.
I scored a 2160 on the old SAT and I mostly got 3s and 4 on the AP tests. I have a 3.8 unweighted GPA (my school does not do weighted) and I’m a varsity golf player, as well as the captain of my schools Science Olympiad team. (Which is ironic considering what I’m failing in) i have received the presidential service award and a member of the Hispanic recognition program. Many people say I will be fine, but I simply cannot reassure myself.

My dream school is USC but I am applying to all the Universities of California, as well as Northeastern and Stanford.
What will happen if I cannot make up my grade to at least a B? What will happen if I get 2 Cs this semester but straight As the next semester? Sorry if this sounds stupid but it’s application season and I’m losing sleep over this.

Those are tough classes and I think a lot of students are in your shoes. Can you get a tutor to try to pull it up? You still have 2 months before the end of the semester I’m guessing?

To maintain your provisional admission for the all UC’s except UCLA/UCB, you need to maintain a 3.0 weighted GPA with no D’s and F’s. For UCLA and UCB, you need to maintain a 3.0 unweighted GPA and no more than 2 C’s, no D’s or F’s. Try real hard to pull those grades up.

For USC, you need to look up their requirements for their provisional admission plus they will ask for Mid-year grades so it be especially important to get those grades up now.
