Will I be accepted?

Hi, I'm an out of state student, interested in going to LSU. I thought that LSU was a cinch to get into, but one of my friends who had relatively good grades and stats didn't get in, and now I'm worried. I met an LSU rep at a college fair who told me anyone with a 3.0 is automatically in, but now I'm starting to wonder if he only meant that for in-state kids, and if it will be harder for me since I'm out of state.

If anyone could just look over my stats and give me a realistic view of my chances of getting in, that'd be great:

GPA (UW): 3.2
GPA (W): 3.8

SAT: 1830
ACT: 29

Majority honors courses, 8 AP classes (and I plan to take 5 in senior year)
4 Years of Language (Latin)
Vice President of Latin Club (I'll be President next year)
Cross Country all 4 years (Captain next year)
Track all 4 years (Captain next year)
...and then a bunch of random clubs that I never really did much in

So please be realistic about it, I was counting LSU as my safety school but if I don't have a clear shot of getting in, I'm going to need to look for other schools that I for sure will be able to get into (if you could suggest any, that'd be great!). Thanks!!

You meet that out of State Admission requiremnets?

I mean, that you do meet the requirements need for admission, the " ? " was a typo.

I think you’re in. Might be eligible for a scholarship. You could always contact Admissions regarding your stats/situation.
