Will I be considered a full time student??

I am signing up for my second semester of classes and it says 12 credits is considered fulltime. I am taking 9 normal credits and 4 non degree math credits for a total of 13 credits. My question is will I still be considered fulltime with the 4 credits being non degree or will i need to pick up another 3 normal credits to be considered a full-time student? I wantbe to makehave sure I am fulltime. Thanks if anyone can answer this for me.

It probably will, but you have to check with your school.

I just want to make sure I will have fulltime status for financial aid reasons. Someone has had to have dealt with this situation before.

You should probably talk to the financial aid office about that.

To be honest, I have never heard of anyone in your situation. Do you mind elaborating why you are paying for courses that won’t count towards your degree?

Sure I can explain. I tested into a low math class 091 which I have to take to advance into math 105. So I have to take this math class to move ahead to the math classes I need for graduation. Maybe this explenation will help someone answer my question.

you need to check with your school… i had to do the same exact thing 9 credits plus 3 because of low math testing… i was considered full time… i guess as long as you have 12 credits, it shouldn’t matter

Alright, I’ll check with my school. Thanks for the information.
