Hey all, i'm irish and i'm coming over to a us college for a semester in the fall. Quite nervous and excited,it will be my first time in the us, so i don't have any experience of the college system there, but are college students there welcoming to international students such as myself? Thanks :)

Haven’t you already asked this in other threads

they’ll treat you like any other student.

No. You especially won’t if you expect people to jump on you for having an accent.

If you make an effort to meet people and are nice to them, you’ll be fine. People aren’t really “popular” in college, that kind of phases out after high school.

Sorry for the thread guys, i did post this time sometime a while back but someone hacked into my account and put up another thread. Still, thanks for the replies anyway.

someone ‘hacked’ into your cc account…

arigh m8!

You must have some really good skills to impress the Americans we are extremes you see, either you will be popular or will go down :)
