Will I be rejected now?

NYU is my first choice and dream school. I've applied as an EDII applicant and am waiting for my decision to come in less than two weeks now.

The thing is, I have a really low GPA. I have a 3.65 UW GPA with a 1990 SAT, but I've taken 4 APs and am currently taking another 4 this year (total of 8) and I go to one of the top 100 public high school's in the nation according to US News.

My issue is this:

Today, grades have been finalized and my senior UW GPA for first semester dropped from my cumulative. I got a 3.28 with 2 A's and 5 B's (4 are from my AP classes and one is from my physics class). I took AP Gov, AP Lit, AP Environmental Science, and AP Stats for my APs.

But, despite this, my weighted GPA ends up being a 3.85 which is actually higher than my original weighted GPA which is a 3.8. I don't know if NYU evaluates using weighted or unweighted GPAs but that's my situation right now: A drop in UW GPA but an increase in weighted GPA.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm scared that this drop will hurt me in my chances of EDII. I tried really hard this semester but I guess it wasn't hard enough.

Will this seriously hurt me? Does anyone know if NYU looks at first semester grades for EDII applicants? My schools automatically sent all finalized mid-year reports electronically today at 5PM so I can't do anything like having them sent in later.
