I have been accepted to Berkeley for the fall of 2015 as a transfer student in the college of letters and sciences.
Last quarter, my anxiety got very severe and I also got sick with a respiratory infection (these two were likely related…) and I ended up dropping Calc 1B and getting a C in Accounting. I got an A+ in my other class which was an honors class and I got an A in an honors seminar. However, the seminar does not transfer so my cumulative GPA for that quarter was 2.89.
This quarter I am still struggling with anxiety and have also realized that I do not want to go into a major with math and I am planning on dropping math 1B again. I got accepted as an intended environmental econ major but I want to change to political economics, which does not require calculus so I do not think dropping math should be a big deal? Also I plan on getting at least B’s in my other classes this quarter.
I am more worried about my gpa last quarter but I just don’t know. I REALLY do not want to be rescinded and I am freaking out! I called my admissions officer and she has yet to call me back. Do you think they will rescind me?
