On my application, I wrote that I took a summer philosophy class at a community college just for kicks and got a P for passing. Back then I thought it was a pass/fail class. I just looked at my CC transcript and it says i got a C. will i be rescinded???

I don’t think they care if you got a C–they only care if it was a D or F.

Now, if that C brought your GPA UNDER the minimum GPA required, then it could pose a problem.

but i took this class summer before my junior year. not this semester.

sopranokitty’s right.

If you tell them about it, I don’t think it will be grounds to rescind your offer of admission. HOWEVER, if you do not tell them about it, then I’m pretty sure they will have grounds to rescind your offer of admissions. Eventually they will receive your transcripts and see this discrepancy.

Omg I’m so nervous.
It was just a stupid college Philosophy class I took at a CC for fun. Do they count community college grades on the application as much as regular school grades?
Especially since I miswrote my grade, saying I got a P instead of a C.

I really don’t know how they will look at it (I’d assume, however, that you’d be fine since you passed the class), but I’m pretty sure they will look at more favorably if you told them about it before they received your transcript(s). So, just tell them.
