Will I fit in? (transfer)

<p>Hello everyone. I recently got accepted as a junior transfer to Rice ECE. I spent the first two years in a LAC. I went there with a open mind and high expectation. As much as I liked the education I was getting, I cannot find myself fit into the crowd. I am slightly geeky and do not fit into any stereotype. I like to think of myself as normal, as I know and do a little bit of everything, but I am probably weird as hell. At this point I really don't know anymore. </p>

<p>I have read a lot of good things about the people at Rice. I would really like some unbias descriptions of what people at Rice is like.</p>

<p>Although I can’t provide an unbiased description as I attend and love this school, I can tell you that based on what you have said you will fit in perfectly at Rice. Most students here are quirky in a good way, don’t fit into any one stereotype, and tend to be very normal people despite their unique quirks. The atmosphere at Rice is one of acceptance and appreciation of people’s differences.</p>
