here are some basic facts! (I’m a junior in high school)

-right now I have a 3.61 uc gpa but hopefully after this semester it will be closer to a 3.65

-haven’t taken the SAT yet but I got a 1900 on a diagnostic that I didn’t study for and I’m currently in a prep class so I’m assuming that my score will be between 1950 and 2100

-3 (maybe 4) year varsity athlete

-4 years in school choir

-10 years in choir outside of school

-3 years choir outside of school (singing holiday gigs for money so technically a job)

Keep those GPA’s high… take the SAT… you can take it all you want. Sophomore Spring semester is a good time to take 1st attempt… then again Spring Junior year… and in Senior year if necessary.

Also, AP classes can boost your GPA if you get an “A” in them.

Yeah, keep up your gpa. Try to make yourself as well-rounded as possible. Take APs or IBs. Your SAT is pretty good, if you study for it you might even get over 2000. Maybe try the ACT as well. And senior year, either keep a similar workload or a tougher workload of academics, don’t decrease it. :D

you should really take the real SAT and see where you go from there. Your GPA is below average and it’s a reach for you to get into Davis. With all the cut backs next year will be worse than this years’ admissions. Keep it up!
