Hey, I recently applied to UT and I was wondering what my chances are of getting into UT. I have a 3.5 gpa and a 24 composite act. I've taken 3 AP classes but have been to 3 different high schools because of moving. I talked about that in my personal statement and my grades my sophomore and junior years were all A's and One B both years. Just wondering your thoughts on my chances.

Anyone? Guessing cause no ones responding my chances are pretty low :(

There’s not much activity on here so don’t worry lol. I’d say your chances are pretty good. The only thing would be your ACT. Their average is 24-29, however, so I’d assume you would have a fair chance, depending on your other activities, statement, etc. Oh, and if it pertains, they do superscore. Otherwise, from what you’ve given, you seem to be alright. But, still waiting on acceptance myself. Good luck to the both of us!

Thanks so much for replying back! Yeah I know my act score is right on the brink, unfortunately I scored higher on all of my categories so the superstore won’t help. As for my activities I played football my freshmen and sophomore years and worked my whole junior year and am working now. In my personal statement I talked about moving and overcoming changing schools and stuff like that. I also mentioned that UT was my dream school and pretty much if I was accepted I would for sure go there so maybe that will help my chances thanks again! Good luck! Hopefully we both can get in!

Oh I forgot to mention too that I’m in state so hopefully that will help

You should get in easy.

you think so? I hope I do.

I got in!! Thanks everyone!
