My cousin is also in Columbia University . He says he enjoys a lot there. My many friends also live in Philadelphia , all attending University of Pennsylvania .

Thats awesome! I don’t know many kids at Penn but thats the fun of it haha. I am ready to make some new friends and get that city life. Good to know everything is looking up finally I cant wait to send these applications out and figure out where I am going next year. If I get into Penn I will cry it has been my dream school since I was 9 haha

Wishing you All the Best , Brother.

Same to you!

Can you tell me more about my chances for getting into Berkeley.

yea one sec.

Are you currently in the University Park Campus?

Actually, no. I came to one that is about an hour from my house. My transcripts do not specify what campus I go to as the University is recognized as a whole. The curriculum is exactly the same though and it is one of the commonwealth campus’s you can do schreyers in. I chose to come here first because I did not know where I wanted to go out of high school so I thought I could get my grounding here and figure out what I wanted to do. I am really happy I chose to come here because it allowed to me distinguish myself among the student body in a way that wouldn’t have been possible to at University Park. I have been eligible to transfer to main campus since my first semester but after visiting a few times I have realized it isn’t my fit and that I want to be in a city. (all of the schools I am applying to excpet Cornell are city schools)

I would say you have a decent shot at NYU and maybe Georgetown. I think you could get into Villanova. The others, I’m not too sure about. You’ve got some great ECs lined up!
Best of luck!

I appreciate the feedback. I am getting such a wide variety of answers i dont know what to think haha.

I think you’re in at Villanova and NYU, and I’d say Cornell, Brown, Georgetown, and Columbia are high matches. Rest are reaches.

Okay thanks for your input.

i think you have a great shot at getting into villanova and nyu

do I have any chances at the other schools?

Although I don’t know much about transfers, a superficial reading of several threads on this forum tells me that you’re a competitive applicant, academically speaking. A 3.7 isn’t horrible, but not FANTASTIC. Though I guess you could explain that, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Your internships look awesome(I’d kill for any one of those!), and co-currics are impressive too.
I reckon you’re probably in at Columbia, Villanova, NYU and Georgetown(chances are a wee bit lower than the rest here)
You have a very good shot at: Cornell and Brown EDIT: And UPenn
These two are reaches for everyone, no matter how good they are. They will take you seriously here, though: Harvard and Yale

Awesome thats great to hear. Upenn is def my #1 choice and if I could get into columbia i would cry haha. Thanks so much for your input!

Upenn: High Reach
Villanova: Match
NYU: Reach(Stern yes?)
Georgetown: ???
Cornell: Reach
Brown: Reach
Columbia (have a legacy here): Reach
Harvard: High Reach
Yale: High Reach

**I have no idea how to chance a transfer student sorry!
I’m just basing it on their admission difficulty.

not stern haha CAS and I think you are going a little above what is realistic in means of difficulty in comparison to what most others are chancing me by but thanks for the feedback

i dont know much about transfers but your gpa is excellent for a college student
you have done many phenomenal things in your spare time as well so that will help, good job on being well rounded!
do you need to send in scores for transfers? (once again sorry haha i really dont know how this process works)
ps i would lower your list of schools thats gonna cost a fortune! best of luck:)

I need to send SATs but they most likely wont look at them since I am a junior. Also I am very lucky both of my parents do extremely well so money isn’t going to be an issue haha. Thanks for your input.
