I am half hispanic and go to a small school with about 500 students. I am class treasurer, participated in student government for 2 years, science club president and BETA club. I have ran track one year, cheerleading one year and played volleyball for 3 years. My scores are a 17 on the ACT and a 1250 on the SAT. what are my chances to get into ECU?
I have a 370 in math and a 430 in critical reading.
What is ECU? East Carolina?
Do you meet the admissions requirements for your coursework? And what is your gpa? To be honest, your SAT scores do not indicate college readiness. Looking at the scores of accepted students, it looks like very few students, some though, get accepted with those scores. If you do get in, you should take a remedial program to get prepared as Take advantage of sources of academic support to succeed in college.

@mandaplease I go to a school where the majority of the population goes to UNCG or ECU. The minority thing is good. your extracurriculars are good, but I have no idea what your GPA is. You want at least a 2.8-3.5 to try and get in there. Your test scores are too low - but your ACT may look better than your SAT. Retake whichever exam you are comfortable with. Shoot for a 1500 at least on the SAT and a 21 on the ACT. The scores people got at my school ranged from 1500-1700 with about a 3.0 GPA - those were the people who got in. You may want to apply to back up schools like Chowan, Wingate, or SC State, Roanoke College, etc.
