Will I get into these colleges with a 3.0/3.2 GPA?

Hello!
So I have around a 3.2 GPA. I messed up freshman year so bad. I think science threw me off the most for sure. I have a disease/disorder which I’d rather not talk about. But becuase of those, my grades are terrible. If I work my butt off junior year, will colleges see that as an improvement and a hard worker?

Freshman year:

Geometry: 72
Global History: 86

As far as extracurriculars go:

Florida Atlantic Univ

U of Florida

U of Hartford

Hofstra Univ

Improvement of grades (I.e Upward trend) should probably be viewed in a positive light and may a have a somewhat of a positive affect admissions wise. You can’t accurately chance a school yet without your junior year grades and/or your SAT/ACT Scores at least, but your GPA now does have some room for improvement to improve your chances for college admissions, as the outlook would be gloom if your grades remain the same through your junior year. However, this should be of no sudden alarm just yet, and it is imperative that you work hard and produce the best grades possible in your junior year. Does your school offer any AP/IB Courses ? If so, I strongly recommend taking them to improve the rigor of your schedule. Also look in to taking the SAT, SAT Subject Tests, or the ACT this year.

good luck.
