Will i get into UCONN or possibly something better?

Hello, i am a becoming a senior and applying to college this August.
My number one college I would like to get into is UCONN because i love the campus, live in-state, and the affordable price. However, i have no idea if I’ll get in. I have heard that people with a 2200+ SAT score and a 4.0 GPA did not get into UCONN but i have this from a friend who goes to UCONN, so i don’t know if the information is reliable.

My GPA (right now) is a 3.9 (out of 4) but I’m hoping it will go to 4.0 in my first semester of senior year, and 4.5 (out of 5.0).

I have took all honor classes through out my 4 years of high school. My high school offers classes to be taken at University of Hartford, where we actually walk to the college and take it with other college students. I have took precalc, calc, calc 2, and a visual basic course over at the college and got good grades in all. However, i don’t know if this will actually help me in the application process. In addition, I took ECE (Early College Experience which is just like AP classes) English my junior year and planning to take ECE marine science and ECE english my senior year.

My SAT score is a 1710 (which sucks) but I have been practicing all summer and taking it again in October. I am hoping it will go to at least 1900. (Also if you have any good SAT advice, please tell me)

I did book club my freshman year. Although i love to read books, i didn’t continue it because i didn’t like the books they have picked for us to read. should i have stayed?
I helped backstage for the Annual Fashion/Talent show at my school Sophomore year and became stage manager junior year and planning to do it senior year.
I was also in the yearbook club my junior and senior year.
I did around 100 hours of community service.
I also help out my dad with a Hindu cultural activity which he is in the board member of.

Awards: I got the Calculus award my junior year and High Honors awards for every marking period. You get the high honors award if you have a GPA above 4.2.
Also does UCONN look at the GPA out of 5.0 or 4.0?

UConn average GPA for class of 2019- 3.52, weighted 3.83. You are wayyy above the average GPA! You SAT is quite low but still in the 50% range. The only problems is that you don’t seem to have too much “devotion” to ECs. You don’t have any 4 year ECs and only 1-2 three year ECs. That could hurt you, because with so many people with high GPAs, you could be just a regular applicant with nothing to make you stand out.

Did you participate in any summer activites (intern, volunteer, programs) ?
Do you have any other awards to make you stand out among the applicant pool?

I’d say UConn is a match if you get that SAT up, should be 1900+. If you get over 2000, you could be competitive for more schools, but I think schools around UCONN’s level are ones you can get into. UCONN is a great school though. Especially in-state.

I volunteered every summer except my sophomore year because i went vacation the whole summer but i didn’t get any more awards. However, i did take some college classes over the summer. I did get published in my junior year but at 20+ people in my school also got published so i don’t know if that’s any help.
