Will I get into university of Toronto?

I was born in Vancouver but have attended highschool in the US all my life. I have a 3.66 gpa and a 27 on the act. I take all ap and honor courses at my school. I have had two internships in NYC ( I’m from ohio) and I have formed a club at my school. I just don’t know if it’s worth applying

Which program would you apply for? The acceptance qualifications are different for each program.

I was hoping for the St George campus. My intended field of study was sociology and along ethics, study, and law org public policy

You should be able to get in as long as your English score on the ACT was at least 8. Your 12th grade English grade will be the most important part of your transcript. You should apply for the Humanities or Social Sciences programs.

Put some thought into which college you want to apply to. http://www.artsci.utoronto.ca/futurestudents/colleges The two most competitive are Trinity and Victoria. Residence is only guaranteed for the first year. Each college has different criteria for residence beyond first year, so make sure to do your research to see if you will want to/be able to stay in residence for your subsequent years. Downtown Toronto is a very expensive city to live in. A one bedroom apartment + food costs $2000/month and up. Residence is a bargain, imo.
