Will I get my offer rescinded?

I’m planning on going to Penn State next fall, but my current grade for AP calculus AB is lackluster. I somehow maintained a C- in the first semester, but I don’t think my final grade is going to be a C- because midterms and finals take up a big percentage in grades. So I’m gonna assume that I’m going to finish Calculus with either a D or F. It’s not like it’s a bad case of senioritis either. I study very hard I have mostly A’s and B’s in my classes and have a 3.7/3.8 GPA. Frankly I put the most hours into calculus.

I don’t know… will this one F in calculus be enough to get my offer rescinded?

I think you need to change your study habits because clearly what you’re doing right now isn’t working for you. Are you coming in for extra help? Are you working to fully understand the concepts? Are you using Khan Academy? If your tests have AP-style questions are you practicing those? I wouldn’t settle for the F at this point, I would try to pinpoint where your studying’s not helping (because you’re clearly trying) and try something new.

Penn State only cares about fianl grades. So make sure you get a C- or above.

In short, they only care if you graduate so keep the grades up!
