Will i get rejected over this?

<p>I just sent my app into UNC and after i sent it i decided to re-read my essay and saw this</p>

<p>i put a slah in front of the word doing by accident....it looks like this, but its at the beginning of a line so it looks like this...</p>

\doing the absolute best job that I could blah blah blah blah blah blah

<p>See what i mean.....help</p>

<p>its hardly as noticable as it seems when i typed it above but im worried.</p>

<p>I'm sure you won't get rejected... but theres definately going to be a BIG frown on the adcomms face when he sees it... I mean, come on, I'm sure ONE proofread would of caught that.</p>

<p>This shows that you don't even care enough to read your essay over once.</p>

<p>Just hope the adcomm misses it.</p>

<p>Nobody will care about your slash. It will be some minor detail on the essay. I know you people are playing for high stakes, but this is overreacting. </p>

<p>Then I think the adcomms will miss it as well. I mean, if you read it over a lot and missed it, I'm pretty sure an adcomm who spent HOURS reading over TONS of essays will miss it as well.</p>

<p>I missed a whole page on the SATs on accident, I was so MAD.</p>

<p>There's only two things you can do now - keep thinking about it and stressing yourself, or forget it and relax a bit. Either way, nothing is going to change so I suggest you do the latter.</p>
