I was rushing and made 3 word choice/grammatical mistakes on Brown's supplement.
My essay was pretty well written though.

My curiosity has been FURTHER fueled by brilliant teachers who have allowed me to FURTHER my interest in Biology. <- LOL

Within moments, I noticed an expression of joy on her face as she LIFTED the latest issue of Time magazine. My spirits were LIFTED. (I know, I'm questioning whether I was drunk)

The woman then requested for me open the blinds that were partly shut. (forgot "to" before open)

So are these enough to reject me from Brown because I'm on the fence? (2140/4.0)

Woo, my first post…Don’t worry about it. I’m pretty sure it won’t. And for the third one, I wouldn’t have realized that you left out “to” if you hadn’t mentioned it. Their minds will self-correct it, just like what happened to me.

I did the same thing with the third one Trust me, I’ve seen much, much worse mistakes than yours. The overwhelming majority of essays will have typos; a lot of them even slip past professional editors, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

I wouldn’t worry about it. With the third one, I wouldn’t have even known you forgot ‘to’.
I made mistakes on my common app essay, and still got accepted to those schools.

I would’ve noticed the first too. But the third one I mentally substituted it in, didn’t notice it at all. But don’t worry about it, a lot of applications will have tiny typos.

You always catch new typos right after you hit submit, same thing happened to me. It’s just the way it is. Don’t sweat it, they weren’t that noticeable. Good luck
